At Families Fighting for Justice, we offer people what we believe was not given to us when we lost our loved ones. We understand what it is like when you are left in the dark, and become lost, isolated and confused. You think you are alone and no one understands your heartache - well we at FFFJ do!! We understand because we are in the same pain. You are not alone.
Once you take that first step and come and meet us, you will see that you are amongst friends. We have been down every path and felt every emotion and we know your fears.
You can talk about anything you wish. You will find someone that will be able to help and guide you. Each one of us a FFFJ can offer support to you, if you need knowledge about court procedured, what to expect, what your rights are. One of us at FFFJ will be able to advise you. We can help with Family matters, we can talk to your family if you wish, at your own home, as often there becomes a family break down, frustration sets in, families struggle to cope, because once you have had your loved one snatched away, your family goes through all kinds of strain, each lost in there own grief. We can help your family understand, that these feelings are normal, that you are not alone.
We can offer help with household chores, things that at first you may not want to do. We will help you, as once you are with us, you are part of our family. Nothing will be too much trouble for one of us to take on board. Then maybe when you find the strength you will be able to help others with their grieving process too. We can also arrange for people who are housebound or too afraid to come out of their environment, a lift to the centre.
On a number of times, we even socialise as a group and spend many happy times together, as we know how to even laugh together at times. In the future we hope to get a mini bus so we can take families out for some 'respite' and so that members who can not make it to meetings can be picked up.
Families Fighting for Justice, are now proud to be working in partnership with; Chris Topping, partner to Broudie Jackson Canter solicitors. The justice partnership.
