One Moment In Time; Left us a Life time of suffering.
Jean Taylor the founder of families fighting for justice, who lost a sister in 1998 then in 2000 a son and in 2004 a daughter all from the acts of homicide.
In 2008 Jean advertised in the Liverpool Echo, for victims families to join her on a march to DowningSstreet, as Jean had gathered thousands of signatures' to say; Life should mean life, for first degree murder, also tougher sentences for manslaughter.
Other families who joined her response to the advertisement are now loyal members and trustees of families fighting for justice, sadly the group has grown. Families fighting for justice, are non political but will work alongside those who can bring change, help make society and our country a safer place for everyone.
FFJ are a support group for victims families as we believe our voices should go above the voices of the perpetrators and thier families we have become like a second family to each other, our drop in centre at 19 Seymour Street, has a friendly atmosphere were you can talk in confidence to others who will understand this emotional rollercoaster ride, that you are now on. You do not have to have lost a loved one to acts of murder or manslaughter as we have members who just support us.
We also believe a murder does not have any priorities, if your loved one was taken it does not have to be with a knife or a gun, the loss and pain is the same,we support death by dangerouse driveing or domestic violence,we support all murders.
If you would like to leave a photo of your loved one or call us and we will add there name and story to our site.
Please feel free to read our stories and thank you for visting our website.
